A typical session lasts 50 minutes. Weeklyappointments are the norm. We will spend our time together in a therapeutic conversation. Most clients prefer to have a set day and time for their appointments.
During your session the following may happen;
identification of healthy coping techniques that have worked for you in the past and/or development of new ones.
simple, step by step cognitive behavioral therapy exercises,
exploration of unhealthy patternsof behavior, such as being being self-critical or pushing people away,
examination of styles of communication, for example being passive aggressive,
detection of unhelpful thinking such as black and white thinking or catastrophizing,
identification ofstrengths and existing healthy behaviors.
